The latest issue of Complex Machinery is out.

If we were to treat "AI" as an asset class, how would we evaluate its prospects? How might we assess its risks and opportunities?

In the latest Complex Machinery, I had a go at sizing up the bigger picture: "The AI risk weather report - Part 1"

This one's a departure from my usual style. Instead of an essay or a breakdown of recent news, this first "AI risk weather report" leans closer to industry analyst fare.

(Why do I call it a "weather report"? Because it's a snapshot in time, of a system that is always in flux.)
