I admit, there is one nice thing about forcing everyone to use AI and tracking their token usage:

It's one way to surface genAI use cases!

To be clear: it's a terrible, expensive, inefficient way to surface genAI use cases.

And it will chip away at team morale. While creating risk exposures that will surface at a most inopportune moment down the road.

But it's still a way, so I guess that counts?

If you insist on treating your AI transformation like a night at the casino, have at it. Just know that today's AI gambling might leave you with a headache (and an empty wallet) tomorrow.
