My latest book: Twin Wolves: Balancing risk and reward to make the most of AI
There is no free lunch. Not even with AI.
Successful genAI adoption requires a company to invest in:
➡️ training – so people know how to use genAI and what it's good for
➡️ a thorough review of the company's business models and challenges – to see where AI might make a difference
➡️ monitoring, risk assessment, controls, and other safeguards – to protect from the inevitable errors that will occur
➡️ an experimental mindset – so people understand that projects may not turn out as expected
These steps will take time and money. They'll also increase your chances of winning, while reducing your exposure to downside losses.
If you're not taking these steps in your AI transformation, why not?
